Our Commitment

firmChannel is committed to a website that people can use regardless of ability or the technology they rely on. We build the platforms that our partners deploy in hospitals, campuses, and public buildings, where accessibility is not optional, and we hold our own site to the same expectation. Where it falls short, we want to hear about it.

Conformance Status

firmchannel.com partially conforms with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. "Partially conforms" means that most of the site meets the standard and that some content, listed below, may not fully conform.

This status is based on an automated self assessment carried out on October 27, 2026 across every page of the site. Automated testing checks a large share of WCAG requirements but not all of them. Manual testing with keyboard navigation and screen readers has not yet been completed, and this statement will be updated when it has.

This statement covers the website only. The wayfinding application our partners deploy for their clients on kiosks and visitors' phones is a separate product and conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA; see our accessibility standards page. The firmChannel content management platform is an authoring tool, and the accessibility of content created with it is the responsibility of the organization that creates it.

Scope of This Statement

This statement applies to the public pages of firmchannel.com.

It does not cover:

  • Third party content and services embedded in our pages, such as video players, maps, and chat or form widgets, over which we have limited control
  • Content we link to on external sites
  • The firmChannel content management platform used by partners and their clients to manage their own networks. Accessibility information for our products is on our accessibility standards page

Known Limitations

An automated assessment of every page of the site on October 27, 2026, in English, French and Spanish, found no failures against WCAG 2.2 Level A and Level AA. One limitation remains:

  • Third party content embedded in our pages, such as video players and form widgets, may not fully conform, and we have limited control over it.

Manual testing with keyboard navigation and screen readers is planned, and this statement will be revised when it is complete. We review this statement annually, and whenever the site changes substantially.
